Sally is a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, with over a decade of experience specialising in addiction, trauma, and historical sexual abuse. Sally’s industry experience and expertise within this field, address the underlying root causes of addiction trauma, and the impact of childhood sexual abuse.

She integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focussed Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (M.I.), Gestalt (Empty Chair Methodology) and Psychodynamic theory to explore underlying patterns and themes that may be contributing to her client’s challenges.

Sally is committed to providing compassionate support with empathy and understanding. Sally creates a safe, non-judgemental space helping her clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, thus identifying destructive patterns and develop healthier coping strategies, empowering the individual to make positive changes and lead more fulfilling lives.

Throughout her career, Sally has worked extensively with individuals, couples, families, and groups struggling with addiction trauma and the effects of childhood sexual abuse. She helps her clients navigate the complex challenges they face on their journey to healing and recovery.

Sally has achieved:

  • Higher Education Certificate ( CertHE ) in Counselling
  • Higher Education Certificate ( CertHE ) in Drug & Alcohol Counselling
  • FdA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy

Professional development in:
Transactional Analysis (TA), Suicide & Self Harm, Attachment Theory, Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA), Trauma, Working with Eating Disorders, Psychosis, Personality Disorder, Sections under the Mental Health Act, Psychopharmacology, DID (dissociative identity disorder) and Domestic Abuse.
