Shelley is passionate about offering a therapeutic service to help people of all ages with their presenting issues, to support their mental health and wellbeing and to provide them with strategies and skills that can prevent their troubles from escalating. We are all just trying our best in this busy world but sometimes need a little support along the way, especially in times of difficulty. This is why it was always Shelley’s dream to be able to offer a hub of therapeutic and holistic support to all.
We are delighted to provide an award-winning holistic therapeutic service to support children, young people and adults to meet their own individual needs and Shelley is proud of creating our Wellbeing Therapy Centre which opened it’s doors in July 2020.
Sunrise Wellbeing became a Community Interest Company in 2021 and continues to offer support, training and workshops within our social enterprise, with continuous exciting plans to expand even further.
At our centre we now have a Team of Associate Wellbeing Practitioners & Therapists, along with our Volunteer Team of trainees working towards their therapy qualifications. Our wonderful Centre Team provides a wealth of experience and support to our communities, in person and online.
Within our team we have experienced trainers and lecturers providing workshops and training on a wide variety of mental health and emotional wellbeing topics supporting schools/colleges, businesses, practitioners and parents/carers and their expertise is often sought from people further afield. You may have also caught us on BBC Radio Leicester many times, where we love to share our tips and tricks to support others.
As a Community Interest Company we are always trying to fundraise and generate further funding to help our services grow and to be accessible to even more people. If you would like to fundraise on our behalf, join in our events or are a business/organisation wishing to sponsor us, then we would love to hear from you!
