Reflexologist (MAR Accredited)

Nicola is the founder of ReFoxology and is a fully qualified Reflexologist.  She is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and Functional Reflex Therapy Network.  Nicola has worked as a reflexologist for the past two-years and has worked both face-to-face and virtually to support her clients physical and mental health.

In January 2020 Nicola completed the Functional Reflex Therapy Framework course to specialise in providing workshops for parents whose children have high levels of anxiety, autistic spectrum disorders and special educational needs to teach them reflexology techniques through a rainbow relaxation routine with the support of a ‘Tool Kit’ as a way to help reduce their levels of anxiety.  Nicola has delivered the Functional Reflex Therapy workshops both face-to-face and virtually to parents, vulnerable young people, workplaces as well as to her regular clients.

Previously, Nicola worked in Further Education as a Sports Science Teacher and Progress Tutor supporting young people with their education and wellbeing.  Nicola has always thrived from supporting others and having had first-hand experience of reflexology for fertility reasons, genuinely believes in the benefits it can have.

Nicola has achieved:

  • The Functional Reflex Therapy Framework course
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology
  • A First Aid in the Workplace Certificate

Nicola undertakes regular professional development in-line with the Association of Reflexologists and has full insurance.  Nicola is looking forward to working at the Sunrise Wellbeing Therapy Centre delivering reflexology workshops and treatments to children, young people, and adults to help reduce their anxiety levels.  Currently I am offering the Functional Reflex Therapy Workshops for parents and as self-support virtually through Zoom, using video clips, images, and demonstrations.
