Megan Warner
Trainee Counsellor & Coach (Student Member BACP)
Megan is a Trainee Counsellor and Coach studying at the University of East London and is a student member of the BACP. Megan uses a combined approach of both talking therapy and coaching. Megan prides herself on creating a safe space where clients can explore their troubles and set therapeutic goals for where they would like to be upon the end of counselling, supporting individuals at their own pace to develop strategies that help them to make the change they desire.
Megan has achieved:
- Currently studying MSc in Counselling and Coaching
- Counselling Skills Level 2
- Drugs and Alcohol awareness
- Principles of working with individuals with learning difficulties level 2
- Level 1 First Aid awareness of mental health
Megan has experience of working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, substance misuse, OCD, relationship issues, job loss, suicidal ideation, and people who may feel stuck.
Megan holds a DBS and is a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She follows their ethical framework and guidelines by means of engaging in professional development courses and fortnightly supervision to further her development.
Megan practices from the Sunrise Wellbeing Therapy Centre where she provides 1:1 support to adults & young people aged 16+.
