Person-Centered Therapist & Clinical Supervisor

Paula is a Person-Centered Therapist and a Clinical Supervisor with a passion to help others. She has worked as a therapist for 15 years, and more recently a supervisor and private practice mentor, working face to face and online. Paula is also passionate about supporting the Staff and Trainee therapy team at Sunrise with clinical supervision.

Paula has a passion to work together with individuals as can they recover or undergo treatment for a life
changing illness. Helping them get their life back on track and trying to discover the ‘New You’.

Trying to find your way following the loss of a family member or close friend takes time and courage. By
working together at the client’s pace, we can learn to understand the effect of your loss and consider working towards the future.

Having set up her own private practice, Paula is aware of the enormous amount of planning and support it takes to get going, she is passionate about offering support and experience to our trainee team and external therapists post qualification. Paula will support you as you consider the next steps in your career and work with you as a mentor to guide you towards setting up your private practice.

Paula also has experience gained working in the Voluntary Sector of making grant applications and is able to support Sunrise to explore and apply for funding to maintain and help Sunrise to grow and continue the amazing work that it does within our local Community.

An accredited member of the BACP and Registered Clinical Supervisor with the BPS (British Psychological Society) Paula has a range of experience and skills gained over years of being in practice with a passion to support both clients and other therapists to thrive and reach their potential.
