I am happy to announce that all of my training is now being delivered virtually to practitioners, schools/colleges and businesses. Same great content, shared resources, knowledge and interactive activities.
This has definitely been the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make (with my family and business head on at this uncertain time) but my passion and long term goal of providing a hub of support for children, young people and adults still remains the same and I feel it is needed now more than ever.
I’d like to share the exciting news with you, that Sunrise Wellbeing is now expanding to a larger premises in Anstey, this will provide (when it is safe to do so) a safe space for all, to seek support, access a variety of therapeutic services, attend workshops and to be part of something special. Our Sunrise Wellbeing Therapy Centre will be opening our doors at the end of all this… to assist you in transitioning to a ‘new normal’, to support you all with the loss and ripple effect that this difficult situation will leave and to continue our amazing therapeutic work as before.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your continued support of Sunrise Wellbeing through this difficult time.
This new step comes with fear and anxiety but I look forward to all of our future plans and dreams and really value you being a part of it.

The support we offer to our clients is something we are truly proud of and we are working with our current clients to offer remote therapy where possible. All training sessions and workshops have currently been postponed, however we look forward to re-scheduling them in the future. Action for Happiness have created a fantastic coping calendar to support us in staying grounded and positive (you can download here). There is also a great Time Capsule activity to complete as a family (please see template below). Please continue to follow our social media pages to stay connected and we wish you all our warmest wishes, stay safe.
As part of the development of our new therapeutic support programme, yesterday we went to try out how swimming with Newfoundland dogs can support people’s mental health and wellbeing. Watch this space for more information, as you can see it was a fantastic experience!
We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded the GHP Social Care Award – Best Youth Holistic Support Service 2020 and to have been selected as a Finalist at the FSB Awards – Community Area Finalist (East Midlands). Hard work, dedication and self-belief is definitely a super power. Thank you for all your continued support
We are soon coming up to the year’s anniversary of Sunrise and I have had the pleasure of working with so many young people during this time through our 10 week therapeutic support programme. I thought I’d share some of the lovely feedback we have received from parents over the past 12 months 💗🌈
